some time ago I purchased about two-thirds of a mile of hot pink sparkly sock yarn, because knitpicks was having a sale on red and pink yarns. then knitpicks got hacked, failed to tell anyone that their information was compromised, and now I’m boycotting them forever, so this is My Last Knitpicks Order
anyway! so that’s a fuckton of yarn, right? I used about a third of one skein (I have five) to make these guys
they are p simple mitts, baby cables on the backs of the hands and plain ribbing on the palms, with a little gusset thumb in stockinette stitch
I did not take notes while making the first one, though, and thus the second glove is very stubbornly four rows shorter than the first. I think I fucked up the thumb gusset. that’s kind of how I do.
but anyway
sparkly pink fucking mitts dammit

a hatte for sale! a washable 55% wool/45% cotton blend in aqua and dark brown (the top photo is closest colorwise; the halogen lamp I have for task lighting washed it out in the other photos - if you go to the link above, look at the color “splash” to get an idea of the intensity of the aqua). custom-designed geometric colorwork pattern, with - this is the exciting part - an optional dark brown pompom (not shown). my head circumference is 22”; the hat fits me slightly loosely, completely covers my ears, and can probably accommodate up to 24”, as the fabric is pretty stretchy. bonus of being a colorwork pattern: it’s essentially double-layered, as shown in photo 3 (inside-out), so it’s nice and cuddly and warm.
price: $25 plus shipping ($5.30 in the continental US, but will totally ship international)
interested? leave me an ask!
